Go Gurl!!! Guess who's the latest addition to the pink corner…. no less than Hogwart's Headmaster him/herself, Albus Dumbledore!!!!
Yep!! That is more than a century of hiding in the closet and I am just so happy for you Albus!!!
JK Rowling took the liberty to open the closet doors for this beloved Harry Potter character last Friday, Oct 19, in an event at the Carnegie Hall.
Dumbledore's sexuality was questioned by Harry Potter fans due to the main fact na wala syang ka-love team!!! When asked by fans if Dumbledore found his true love, JK Rowling answered that he is gay. It was then followed by cheers and applauses from the audience and I am not sure if they would get the same response from the conservative sect and the anti Harry Potter groups.
Dumbledore's story could be considered as one of the most bitter and tragic among the characters. If we look back , Dumbledore killed Gellert Grindelwald in a battle between good and bad wizards in the last novel. Rowling then confirmed that Grindelwald is nonetheless Dumbledore's great love who failed to return Dumbledore's affections…. sad… really sad… Tragic!
I know how it feels Albus!! Mine is just 5 years and I am still trapped in that unrequited love!! I dont know how you were able to handle decades of loving someone who cant love you back. Much worse, killing him for the greater good!!! Chareng!!! Difference natin, eh hinde naman si Dick Israel o Paquito Diaz yung ka-labteam ko! Tsk tsk tsk
The novel ended last summer but continues to make noise up to this date. Considering that 2 more novels are scheduled to be filmed, I guess Rowling should also confirm that there's something intimate between Harry and Draco!! wheheheheeh……
