Pucha! Bumili akong Cosmo!!

April 30 2007 — I was strolling in "Gateway" (sosyal di ba? (napadaan lng actually (bumaba ng LRT 2 ( galing quiapo ( bumili ng mga dibidi) ) ) ) ) — (dameng parentheses)!!  , tapos, I just felt na someone's looking at me… malagkit ang tingin … may ibang hangarin… when I looked back … andun sya… still staring at moi … smiling … malandi ang smile nya … nakaputing polo … blue background … nice haircut … nalunod ako sa aircon ng gateway for 15 seconds nung narealize ko na COSMO pala ang magazine na tinititigan ko… si Piolo talaga oh … kung makatitig kala mo guwapo!!!  Napabili tuloy ako!!

Whaaaa… after 5 yrs!!! Bumili uli ako ng Cosmo!! Ayokong bumili sa stall na yun, coz I want this moment to be special … pumunta akong fully booked dahil gusto ko dun bumili… sosyal kasi pag may dala kang plastic ng fully booked… akalain mo ba namang sold out daw!!! weh!!! so… wala ng choice dun na ko bumili. at akalain mong nandun pala si KC Concepcion sa kabilang cover… hehehehe

Perfect combination di ba… truly "aspirational"… with these two on the cover… Cosmo was able to convey its message to the public… these 2 beautiful/rich/famous/fortunate/sexy/fashionable/superstars would certainly make you feel ugly/poor/unpopular/unfortunate/fat/regular/simple/awkward …. They would make you aspire for more!!!! You have to be like KC to get Piolo …. or… you have to be Piolo to get KC … or … you have to be KC to wear those clothes … or … you have to be Piolo to be with Sam!! Ay!!

I stopped buying Cosmo 5 years ago when I realized that I would never see my name in the masthead (ambisyoso) in any given future. Sober na ako sa kakabili… pero I was tempted seeing that this issue has 350++ pages and Piolo on the cover is totally momentous given that this would be the first time for a specie of Adam to grace Eve's magazine…..

Dont be surprised to see Enchong Dee or Dennis Trillo in FHM soon… ehehehe… joke!!! Pero di ba cute!!!

Che! Para kay Baz Lhurmann! Yun din ang sabi ko noon… Eh Bumili na ko!! So hinde ako ugly!!! (naiinis ako… while reding Cosmo… narealize ko na perfect example ako ng isang "ectomorph") (narealize ko din na sobrang saggy na ng skin ko) (eee… yellow na ng ipin ko) (mahal ba magpa-brace) (magkano kaya magpawas ng bibig?) (ano yung tawag sa proces ng pagbabawas ng gilagid) (ipa-adjust ko kaya yung panga ko)… O di ba! Im happy for who I am…

Pero na realize ko rin… we only live in this world once… meaning… while we live… kailangan nating pagtiyagaan ang binigay na face ni Lord… let's try to enjoy life sa kung ano binigay ni Lord… come to think of it …. God made a way naman di ba…. he gave us "Eskinol"!!! bweheheh
