The Assassination of Brad Pitt by the Coward Casey Affleck
Tuesday, February 13, 2007I've read Brad Pitt's interview with a magazine together with the other acting nominees for the Oscars and I was overwhelmed with this actor's humble beginnings (dati syang driver at assisstant ng mga strippers! humble di bah!)?and how he worked hard to propel his career! He actually didnt finish school and decided to go to Hollywood with only a few dollars. Well, look at him now, having trips around the world for shoots and charity works with partner Angelina Jolie!!
I am all praises for Brad Pitt as an actor! His performance in Babel, 7 years in Tibet and Interview with a Vampire are some of my Favorites! He just completed filming this new project with Casey Affleck, it is now in post-production but we have no date yet for showing. Here's more info about the movie from the laging maaasahang wikipedia.com!!!!
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (ang haba ano!)is an upcoming drama film directed by Australian director Andrew Dominik. It was filmed in the cities of Calgary, Winnipeg and Edmonton, in western Canada, and will be released in 2007. The film stars Brad Pitt, Sam Shepard, Casey Affleck, Mary-Louise Parker, and Sam Rockwell. Pitt, Ridley and Tony Scott act as producers.
Based on Ron Hansen's critically acclaimed and popular novel, the film delves into the private life and public exploits of America's most notorious outlaw. As the charismatic and unpredictable Jesse James (Brad Pitt) plans his next great robbery, he wages war on his enemies, who are trying to collect the reward money – and the glory – riding on his capture. But the greatest threat to his life may ultimately come from those he trusts the most.
Money for Movie Tickets!!
I could actually spare lunch for a good movie! As an aftermath of my resignation I am in a tight budget right now and it really pains me not to pamper myself insidea movie theater!
Anyway, this year would be totally awesome! It'll be a good year for movies and we have an exciting line-up and here are my picks! Great movies that would surely saturate my piggy bank!
March
I have weird reflexes with the slight mentions of the name Kubrick! Disturbing and provocative images would often plague my mind!If you have watched his films, you would pretty much know what I mean!
"Eyes Wide Shut" was shown in theaters when I was 14! I was such a Kubrick fan and I promised myself to see this film in widescreen no matter what! I was blessed with such height that I was allowed entrance on my third attempt!
I couldnt explain the feeling while watching it! It was Kubrick's last film and he died while doing it! It was such a high to see his last attempt of perfection.
But anyway, I stumbled upon this new film with John Malkovich as lead. It has connections with Kubrick's Eyes Wide shut that would certainly give me goosebumps if I would be given a chance to see it. The film is about a man who gained access into a lot of exclusive parties when he successfully led those people to believe that he was the legendary Stanley Kubrick! He actually has no resemblance at all with Kubrick and these events occured during the shooting of Eyes Wide Shut in London form 1998-199.
John Malkovich is such anawesome actor and I think that this would be a good one!
Frank Miller's 300 would also open in theaters next month. This film boasts breathtaking CG's. An awesome adaptation with crisp visuals and delicious casts… hehehe…The film tells the true story of 300 elite Spartan warriors led by their fearless king Leonidas (Butler), who thwart the charge of Xerxes and his massive Persian army at the battle of Thermopylae. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian foe, leading to the origins of democracy
The latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie would be opening next month as well. It would be in CG, parang computer game! It would feature the voices of Sarah Michelle Gellar and Zhang Zi Yi!!! We also have thrillers on the line up, we have "Bug", The Hills Have Eyes 2 and Zodiac! Also save some money for Here Comes the Robinsons that might air end of next month!

The Hoax," directed by Lasse Hallström, is inspired by true events in the life of Clifford Irving, the writer who nearly pulled off one of the most audacious media scams in history, when his "autobiography" of Howard Hughes was published. Golden Globe® Award-winner Richard Gere stars as Irving, who claimed the book was based on in-person interviews he conducted with the reclusive billionaire, which were in fact completely bogus. Academy Award® winner Marcia Gay Harden, Alfred Molina and Hope Davis also star.
Scarlett Johansson never went out the limelight! Another movie featuring the beautiful actress would be shown on april. She would play a sophisticated woman trapped to serve a socialite family!
