Mel Gibson has this weird taste in making movies! For a perfect Mel Gibson movie, it should be spoken in a dead ancient language, there should be blood, lots of blood, a whip of violence and a dashing story that  would surely capture your hearts!

Unrelenting violence wraps this movie, but its core is indeed more than blood and gore. I almost threw-up in the first part of the film, when one of the characters ate the genitals of a boar! Expect to see a lot of internal organs! I mean, these people are savages!- remind yourself of  that  for you to be prepared in any visuals that may turn your stomach upside down!   

It was a fun exciting ride though! Too much adrenaline and you would surely go further from the edge of your seats.

Apocalypto covers a man's escape from merciless marauders. It is a story of courage, family and love! This is an epic film that was very well woven by Mel Gibson! It is quite a shame that he went through his drinking scandals last year before the film's release! This is actually better than Braveheart in my opinion! The Passion of the Christ falls in a different level and is incomparable to this one. 

It is just overwhelming to notice such an irony in this kind of film! We all live in a world of two opposing forces that actually work together! Chaos and Peace needs each other for us to realize our strenght and push our limits! As what I have mentioned, the film is a feast of violence but deep within is a story of man's imeasurable love to his family.
