10 days after!
Thursday, January 11, 2007The past ten days were really stressful! I don’t know but to think about it, with all those things that had happened, good thing I was able to have a strong grab with my sanity! Those were 10 BIG days! Life tried to crack a joke on me, and as usual, it was not funny!
January 1, Monday
I spent the New Year with Nikkei in Malate. It was not a good idea to start the year but it was better than spending it with pillows! I was tearful when the clock stroke 12! We were outside Rainbow Project, beautiful fireworks above us as we reminisce what happened throughout the year and made plans for this new one!
But here is the catch! I saw one of our bosses and I found out that he is a pure blooded gay! It was a Nancy Drew New Year! I don’t know if he was able to realize that I was able to witness how he ended the year and how he glittered with all his queerness ! But anyway, I am so proud of you mother!
January 2, Tuesday
We have to work even during the Holidays! My day started 8 pm of Jan. 1 and I went to work around 10 pm, work ended 10 am and I rushed to Manila to fetch my sister. I was really excited to see her again. She was gone for 2 weeks to spend her Holidays at home and my life has been miserable. I was able to witness the life cycle of maggots as it happens in our sink! Imagine 2 weeks of dishes and laundry completing a new ecosystem in our house!
She had no choice but to take the only route possible just to get back here in Manila. Unfortunately, NN yung sinakyan niya! I don’t know if any of you have been to the North Harbor, but I tell you, don’t even dare!!! She arrived 8 am and I was able to finish my quest to North Harbor around 11! She swore that she would never clean my mess when we got home, but it was really a relief having her back!
January 3, Wednesday
It was supposed to be the start of my days off but I have to work as a trade! They call it Justice! We have to trade one of our days off to be free on New Year’s Eve! Nothing spectacular happened at all throughout the day!
I spent the night with some friends in Katipunan. Good thing I didn’t end up spending the night in public highways.
January 4, Thursday
It was a lazy morning, trying to get thorough a hangover from the previous night! A text message from Mitch changed the course of how my destiny was written for that day! We decided to spent the night in Malate and drown all our frustrations with alcohol till dawn!
I cleaned the house all throughout the day! It’s my ticket for my sister to allow me to borrow her phone but it went out of my mind though! Talo ko pa yung Extra Challenge! Flexing my bones is actually enough challenge, washing the dishes is another story, facing the cockroaches down our sink is Fear Factor and trying to get the stains out of our clothes is so much pagdurusa!
Nagkita kami sa SM Noth around 9:10! Nakasabay pa namin ang dati naming ka wave mate sa FX na never namin pinansin! O ayun na! sobrang saya na and only God knows what happened during those hours! We were fixin ourselves with cheap, discounted and make it free .. drinks! The 2 of us only spent 100 pesos each and we lose track of how many bottles we finished! Mitch's charm is really undisputable and economically… advantageous!!!
We went on separate ways going home! Mitch was able to chunching dengwoo chow chow chibooni chiboochi gungdoo chibalo ping-ping on our way home ( you know what I mean Mitch!) so I really have to go alone! I was waiting for a ride in Nakpil when I decided to walk further and saw a Lugawan! I decided to have a hot fix and had some acquaintances with some people there. Denver, yung nakilala ko sa lugawan, na pinagtatawanan ko dahil parang Dinosaur ang pangalan, asked me to leave with him na! We were waiting for a cab somewhere between Padre Faura and Nakpil ng may tatlong kalalakihan na biglang lumapit sa amin! Pucha! May nakatutok na kutsilyo sa gilid ko! " Akin na lahat ng pero nyo! Hold-Up to!!" Akong si gago, kasi nga hold-up, tinaas ko rin naman ang mga kamay ko para damang-dama ko ang drama! In my alcohol infested accent sabi ko "Sigeeeh kuhneehn niyooh naaah laaahaaat"! Saan na ang celphone mo? tanong ng nakatutok… "Andyaaan lhaang", din naman ang sagot ko! I wasnt able to look how Denver was doing throughout that scene but I know that he was able to get a full grasp of the situation given na hindi siya lashing! Tagal kasing sumigaw ng cut ni direk!
They ran when they finished squeezing out our hard earned resources! Medjo tulala si denver dahil nakuha yung 6600 at tsaka yung wallet niya! I told him na I have no way of getting home given na wala na nga akong pera! So, good thing, he decided that we'll take the cab na lang and he would drop me home! Eh pucha, wala rin akong pera sa bahay, so sabi ko baba na lang akong Convergys Commonwealth given na along San Mateo ang bahay niya! So valid excuse yun na hindi na ako mag-contribute sa cab! Aantayin ko na lng labasan nina Gladys at mangungutang ng pera pauwi!
Nahiya naman daw akong i-chika sa kanya na 80 pesos lng ang nakuha sa akin at tsaka yung 8210 na phone. Nakakahiyang i-compare! Pa-chika pa siya na mabuti na lng at 6600 niya ang dinala niya at hindi ang N70 niya!! Owzzzz…. pero dahil malaki ang utang na loob ko sa iyo Denver… fine!!! hheheheh!! We were able to exchange numbers pero, bakla, nahold-up nga di ba!! So Denver… isang taus-pusong pasasalamat! Abangan mo na lng ako sa lugawan!
Ang sakit ng tiyan ko pagbaba ko ng Convergys so I spent my whole waiting time sa banyo! Mabuti na lng at nasulat na sa horoscope ko for that day na talagang magkikita kami ni Gladys! Nakautang ako! At the same time, during the process ng pagpapapalit ng singkwenta pesos ay nalaman ng mga teammates niya ang nangyari sa akin buong gabi! Nice Work Glads! heheheh
Nang nakauwi na ko, doon lang nagsink in sa akin ang nagyari! Naalala ko ang nakatutok na kutsilyo! Shit! Nilagnat ako buong araw!
