    Hindi ko alam kong dala lang ng kabangagan ko ( gising ako for 34 straight hours!), pero pinatulan ko ang kalaliman ng usapan namin na to!

Van: Mga… 5 months ago ng na-terminate yung teammate ko!
Nikkei: Bakit ka umiyak?!
Van: Dahil na-terminate siya!
Nikkei: See! Ganun ka pa rin! You cry for other people but you dont even cry for yourself!
Van: So?
Nikkei: Van, …kailangan natin ng pain! Kaya hindi ka happy! Kaya hinde tayo happy!
Van: Nik! Pain?! I am feeling that everyday!
Nikkei: I know! Wala ka pang bagong love-life dahil sobrang closed ang emotion mo sa isang tao lang! For the record, since highschool pa yan! Hindi na constant and nararamdaman mong pain for that person! May love-life na siya, naiyakan mo na! If you wud think about that person I am sure na hinde ganun ka-painful like you felt before.
Van: Oo nga no?
Nikkei: Van it's about time!Move on!You move in 2 different worlds now!Nakuha mo?
Van: Hinde!
Nikkei: Tingnan mo sarili mo! This is exactly not what you have dreamed of 3 years ago habang nangangarap ka sa taas ng puno ng duhat!Try to remember what you were and what you have accomplished back in college noong intense pa ang pain mo towards that person!
Van: Oh My God! OO nga noh! I was way too productive nung college trying to get through the pain…

Synopsis from IMDB

Olive is a little girl with a dream: winning the Little Miss Sunshine contest. Her family wants her dream to come true, but they are so burdened with their own quirks, neuroses, and problems that they can barely make it through a day without some disaster befalling them. Olive's father Richard is a flop as a motivational speaker, and is barely on speaking terms with her mother. Her uncle Frank, a renowned Proust scholar, has attempted suicide following an unsuccessful romance with a male graduate student. Her brother Dwayne, a fanatical follower of Nietzsche, has taken a vow of silence, which allows him to escape somewhat from the family whose very presence torments him. And Olive's grandfather is a ne'er-do-well with a drug habit, but at least he enthusiastically coaches Olive in her contest talent routine. Circumstances conspire to put the entire family on the road together with the goal of getting Olive to the Little Miss Sunshine contest in far off California.

 It was actually a treat watching this film. It was a rough ride but I finished it with a teary eyed smile.

God gave us the right to choose….and we certainly didnt have that right when God decided where the stork would drop us!

Dysfunctional is an understatement if I would be asked to describe Olive's Family.  Everyone has his or her issues, issues that my mom would never allow us to discuss while having dinner.  Olive has a dream, and that is to be this year's Little Miss Sunshine. But how can she actually fulfill her dream with the kind of family that she has ?! Surprisingly, all of them packed their bags along with theior personal burdens and went on a quest to fulfill Olive's dream. It was a fun, chaotic, sad and exhilirating trip that ended with an overly traumatic and hilariously disturbing dance number.

The film was a light comedy that effortlessly showed me the value of family. Just like the vehicle that they need to push before it would actually start, each of us also needs a push to start-up before we could actually face life. I dont know if that would be the symbolism for that part of the film. But it's actually touching seeing each of them pushing their van and then running one by one to get in! It's in my list for movie scenes that changed my life… chos!

Family would always be there for you! The world may turn its back when life cracks a joke , friends may leave you behind because they would always have their own lives. But family would always be there for you, because you would always be a significant part of not just their life but of their entire being. This was actually the point of the entire film. We would be where we are and we would be nobody without our family. No matter how dysfunctional it may be… blood would always be thicker… and we always have love to make the gears work!

I saw the film three days before Christmas, and I was actually depressed after watching it. I really missed my Mom and my sisters… This would be another Christmas alone…..

Hello 2007!!!

     Here are five from the interesting line up that hollywood has for 2007!! Well of course, everyone is waiting for the 5th Harry Potter and 3rd Spiderman movies, those are given…. so is Transformers, Nancy Drew, etc….  Here are not so sure box office hits (except for Ocean's 13 of course)!!  

Reign Over Me

A man (Sandler) who lost his family in the September 11 attack on New York City runs into his old college roommate (Cheadle). Rekindling the friendship is the one thing that appears able to help the man recover from his grief.

The synopsis is really touching! Gee! I wonder what it would be like if I meet my college roommates again! This would be the first time that Sandler and Cheadle to be paired up in a film.. Try to look closely, kamukha ng poster ng Rain Man (Tom Cruise and Dustin Huffman) ang poster nila.

The Oceans are back! We wont be seeing Julia Roberts in the scene… I dont know how they would actually try to polish the storyline without her in the picture. Catherine Zeta Jones won't be slurpeen Brad in this third Ocean Film. Well, it's quite easy to take her out the scene anyway. Ellen Barkin, rumored to be Clooney's new flame in real life due to their onset romance, together with Al Pacino would be joining the heist!

The hapless quartet visits a chocolate factory, where they stumble into an enchanted wardrobe that transports them to the land of Gnarnia (with a "G"). There they meet a flamboyant pirate captain (may Jack Sparrow sila) and earnest students of wizardry (may Harry Potter pa) - and join forces with, among others, a wise-but-horny lion to defeat the evil White Bitch of Gnarnia

Mandy's American Dreams was surely a flop! A huge bore! Hopefully mabawi niya this time! I'll be watching this one and I am so excited about this because of Laren Graham!

 Alessandra de Rossi - I love Alessandra's bitchiness, I worship her in every aspect. She is such a goddess and absolutely fabulous! But Alex certainly has a lot boos for this year! Actually, all these boos are due to one person, itago natin sa pangalang… Jeremy Marquez!! Certainly, maraming nakabangga si Alex because of Jeremy… Toni Gonzaga, Jennylyn Mercado…. at tsaka… sila lang ata… but the list goes on and on and on for Alex…. Well… parang napaka-ANNOYING lang to the highest level ang drama nila ni Jeremy… away-bati, hiwalayan, balikan, tsaka hiwalay uli!!! Nakakairita! Pero love ko pa rin si Alessandra…. slight lang yung hate! 

 Jennylyn Mercado- Eeew!! Yak! Yak! She can sing but she certainly can't act! Jinx sya!! Sumalangit nawa ang kaluluwa ng Now and Forever at Love to Love na hindi niya kinayang iangat ang ratings! sawa na ang tao kay Jennylyn! Sobrang sumakit ang ulo ko sa kanya sa Lovestruck! Kalokah ang bangs niya! Malandyi siya! Yun lang!

Andrew Wolff - Sorry Andrew.. pero I hate you na rin! Great Bod dude! Pero sobrang nakakairita ka kasi sobrang sayang ka! Gwen Garci, Ethel Booba and Keanna Reeves? Who's next? Flora Gasser? Bella Flores? Kiray? Lovi Poe (magkalevel sila ng mga to)?…. Dyos kow Andrew! May mga issue ka pang nananakit ka ng babae… basta andami mong eskandalo! Lagot ka kay Kuya Buboy!

Ethel Booba- Good thing na nawalan ka ng career! Masama ang epekto mo sa kabataan! Kidding!!!! masama ang epekto mo sa kung sino man!

 Ricky Lo - Tong baklang toh! Nagmamagaling. Pinapangunahan ang mga artista! Kung ano-ano ang mga pinagsasabi! Ngongo naman!

 Cristy Fermin - If ever na isulat ni Cristy Fermin ang Alamat ng Pinya… magiging 11 pages ito, single spaced, 24 paragraphs, 2930 words at 150 words lang ang may kwenta at may relevance at hindi niya ma-memention ang word na pinya! Sobrang nakaka-IIRITA ang mga hirit nyang patalinhaga sa The Buzz! May mga issues sya na binubulgar na Okay-Fine-Thank-You-Sa-Effort and she always brag that she owns that scoop! Ano Ba Cristy?! Stop praising yourself so much! Stop thinking na malaki ang ginagampanan mong role sa showbiz! Huwag mo ng pakialaman si DJ Mo! Korek siya sa mga sinabi niya tungkol sa yo!
