Wednesday, September 20, 2006Way too fast!! 10 days left and I'll be 21! hmmmph!! I hate getting old! This would be surely be just another birthday!
October 1, 2005 - My first birthday in Manila. First birthday away from friends and away from my family of course. Spent it at work, nothing special happened on that day, but things just got better when I read messages from my friendster account.
October 1, 2004 - My last Birthday spent at school and my first spent with someone dear! The someone dear I was talking about spent the last few hours with me sa waiting shed until 11. then 12 midnight, 2ni came to our room and gave me a hug and a card that again made me cry! Jeffrey though made that first 2 hours special making me realize how special I am to my friends and he also made me realize what I truly feel about my current affair (guys, I cant be specific, I cant name names, my sister is reading my blog, heheh!!). The rest of the day was of course spent with Nikkei, Paula, Jeah, Charmie and with all my alcohol immuned friends, reason why I was almost kicked out from the dormitory.
October 1, 2003- Before 12, I was really wondering what 2ni, Paula, Noynoy and the rest were doing outside the dorm… I was so stunned when they screamed outside my window at exactly 11:50 to greet me! I was really touched seein Noynoy there after few months of not talking to each other. I later found out that 2ni talked him into doin it. I gave myself a treat the whole day in the city. I went back late in the afternoon and was surprised with a party thrown by friends just outside the dorm sa may mushroom!!! Gosh my cake uli!! My favorite color was orange, and imagine kung ano ang lasa ng Orange na cake. They tried to bear that flavor for 2 years by then. We went out that night, went bangag and the rest is history. I woke up sa tennis court around 5:30 am, kung hindi dahil sa mga friends ko rin na nagba-basketball hindi ako magigising! Syet kahiya! As if hindi pa tapos ang celebration, may round 2 pa pala sa guardhouse! Imagine drinking Tanduay Dark kasama ang mga Guwardiya at exactly 5:30 am. I went back to the dorm and tried to head to school, wasnt able to make it to class, I fell asleep sa shower.
October 1, 2002 - I was banned to enter the dorm during the afternoon. I sensed that something is going on, but I never Imagined how big it would be. Of course, I have to pretend that I was asleep and have to wait till 12am for the surprise. Noynoy left the room around 11:30, Fred fetched me at exactly 12. I went out and didnt see anyone to surprise me a happy birthday song sa lobby! Fred planned this lil scavenger hunt. I went through the entire struggle looking under the tables and going up the lockers for the clues (fred was with me, in case I cannot solve the riddles and find out where the clues are, he actually answered almost everything for me). Damn it was such a high at the end… they were all there sa may bahay-kubo… they've requested the staff to open it just for me . Fair, who lives on the other dorm, for an unexplainable invalid reason was alos there! I gave all of them a hug, we were teary-eyed!! I luv you peps! Thanks sa gifts, I keep all of them pa! Buchi, the squeaky elephant is still alive!

Finally, a must see movie for bitches and a need-to-see movie for all the underdogs out there! I wasnt able to read the novel but I think I dont need to, I'm pretty much happy with the movie.
Meryll Streep was brilliant! She was perfect! She's the only actress who deserves to be Miranda Priestly! Streep's fashion sense in real life is unforgivable but she was able to portray the role with no effort at all.
I would surely slap my boss with my resignation papers if I was forced to produce a copy of the Unpublished Harry Potter Novel ASAP or I'll lose my job if I cant! I would certainly not have 2nd thoughts of leaving the company if my boss makes hell out of my life, mingling with my personal affairs, asking me errands that are complete not job related, forcing me to book her a flight during a hurricane and abuses me harshly by calling me stupid for not being able to do so! Ooops… but given that I get free trips to Paris and free jaw dropping and breath taking Louis Vittons and Ralph Laurens…. I would certainly not mind!!! I could spell Gabbana and I hope that is enough for me to qualify!
Nothing spectacular about the film, except for Streep. Nothing cute, except for Grenier . Nothing great except for the wardrobes. Uhmmm… nothing notable, except for Emily Blunt, Miranda's Brit Assistant! Well that's it! The film is funny, witty and wicked! But I do wish I could see it with subtitles, Meryl Streep talks so scarily low and fast, I need to take note of those cruel statements! I'm currently having how to fight back courses and how to be good in being a bitch lessons as well!!
